TES-timonial: Don Botto, Kirsch Services

Since purchasing TES, we have continued to impress our customers and ourselves with the results. The following examples are just a sample of what TES can do for your customers:

Case #1 was a 5 story condominium water loss that we dried in 36 hours and NO DEMOLITION. The residents were totally amazed at how quickly they were made whole.

Case #2 was an animal hospital and veterinarian clinic that called us on a Monday morning with a full schedule of appointments and a foot of standing water throughout the building! Since the floors were tile and glue down carpet, we had them bone dry by the following day. They only had to reschedule one day of appointments versus 3 to 5 days in a traditional mode.

Case #3 was a brand new convention facility with double glue down carpet and pad combination, fabric wall covering, and acoustic ceiling tile. We were called on a Wednesday morning because of a sprinkler system malfunction which soaked the place ceiling to floor, including 60 upholstered dining chairs. Unfortunately, they had booked a VIP function for that Friday. The chief engineer was skeptical that we could get it done in time, but we had everything dry within 48 hours! What a save!

In conclusion, we continue to enlighten the masses with the latest in drying technology and the benefits it affords them in time and money! If you don't have TES, you are at a competitive disadvantage - end of story.

TES Product Spotlight
OmniDry Wall and Cavity Drying System

The OmniDry Wall and Cavity Drying System uses pressurized air to make drying wall cavities and tough to dry areas easier and less frustrating than ever before! This tool allows you to easily direct air to the most difficult places; hard-to-reach areas like wall cavities, behind cabinets and sinks and around built-in furniture like bookshelves.

The 21 air outlets are what make this drying system so effective. All you have to do is bore ½ inch holes where you need them to begin drying. The on board "plug-off" system allows you to only direct air out of the outlets you need, so all of the air goes exactly where you want it.

This lightweight, highly portable system will save money, time and headaches!

Features:

  • Lightweight, Compact and Stackable
  • Fast Setup, Easy to Use
  • 21 Outlets for More Drying Capacity
  • On Board "Plug Off" System
  • Delivers Warm Air for Better Drying
  • Part # AC8400, Contractor Price $529.00

Technical Bulletin: Thermal Energy Fluid - Part 1 of 3

What is TES Thermal Energy Fluid and why is it used?

TES Thermal Energy Fluid is a hydronic heat transfer fluid. It is a mixture of propylene glycol, de-ionized water and corrosion inhibitors. It is used to prevent freeze damage to the TES system if it shuts down in freezing conditions and to provide corrosion protection for the heater components. TES Thermal Energy Fluid is used in every TES unit, all hoses and TEX Thermal Exchangers. The freezing point of TES Thermal Fluid is thirty degrees below zero Fahrenheit (-30ºF). TES Thermal Energy Fluid is non-toxic.

The TES unit, hoses and TEX Thermal Exchangers come pre-filled with TES Thermal Energy Fluid. Approximately 20 to 22 gallons of solution are required to completely fill the TES unit, hoses and TEX Thermal Exchangers. If fluid leaks out or is drained during repairs, the heater, pump, fittings and hoses must be re-filled with this solution and air must be removed from the system for proper operation.

If I don't have TES Thermal Energy Fluid and my TES fluid level is low, can I use anything else?

For short term operation, if freezing is not a concern, water can be added to the fluid to maintain fluid levels during operation. Distilled or de-ionized water is recommended. Hard water minerals may cause damage to TES components. Adding water will dilute the corrosion inhibitors and may increase system corrosion if used for long periods. As soon as possible the diluted fluid should be drained from the TES unit, hoses and TEX Thermal Exchangers and refilled with TES Thermal Energy Fluid. If freezing is a concern, there are other Hydronic Heating fluids containing Propylene Glycol available such as Dow Frost HD that can be used in place of TES Thermal Energy Fluid. Mineral oil based Hydronic fluids or automotive type Ethylene Glycol anti-freeze solutions should not be used. If you have any questions about fluid compatibility, contact Bridgepoint or your TES distributor.
